Welcome to Great Oldbury Little Learners!
Great Oldbury Little Learners is an outstanding nursery and pre-school which is part of our beautifully designed, purpose built aged 2 – 11 primary school, Great Oldbury Primary Academy. We are situated in the heart of the Great Oldbury estate near Stonehouse and welcome children from 2 - 4 years old.
The benefits of a nursery and pre-school experience within an established school are enormous.
We have strong links to Great Oldbury Primary Academy which ensures a smooth transition into school.
Our fantastic Little Learners team consists of a highly experienced Headteacher and nursery manager, deputy manager and a range of skilled practitioners.
We have spacious, purpose built rooms with vast outdoor areas including a canopied learning environment, meaning learning can be outside whatever the weather.
Our curriculum is play based and creative and centres around encouraging children to explore, discover, use their imaginations and communicate with their friends and staff.
As we are a school-based setting we are fortunate to have the expertise of a SENDCO. Their dual role strengthens continuity and ensures smooth, well supported transitions into Reception and beyond. Our SENDCO works closely with families, staff, and external professionals to create personalised support plans that meet each child’s unique needs.
By being part of The GLA Trust, we are part of a close-knit collaborative team of 11 schools with 4 onsite nurseries and pre-schools. The GLA Trust has developed a positive reputation for quality-first teaching and learning, sharing their immense expertise, talent and experience across the individual academies, pre-schools and nurseries.
We would love to show you around and so please get in touch with us via our email address, admin.GOPA@glatrust.org.uk You can also follow us on our school’s social media.
Hope to see you and your little learner soon!
